Schreiber Furniture was one of the biggest names in furniture in the 1970s rivalling G Plan and othermanufacturers. They had 280 stores throughout the UK.This is a large Schreiber extendable dining table featuring a rectangular top with curved corners. The table is finished with Schreiber’s trade mark wood-effect Formica.
The extending mechanism is straightforward: the two halves of the top pull apart to reveal the concealed central leaf, which folds out and slots neatly into place. The table is supported on four solid Beech legs.
Very good Mid-Century condition with only minor signs of age and use. Structurally solid.
