Hi, I'm Kathryn, although we have been on Not on the High Street for 20 years we started creating personalised gifts in 2013. We started with a small laser engraving machine and have built that up to three large laser machines, vinyl cutters, a UV printer and heat presses.

Back then, I had a simple belief: the gifts people treasure most aren't the expensive ones. They're the ones that show someone paid attention. That they knew the recipient's name, their family, their sense of humour, the thing they always say. My job — our job — is to turn that knowledge into something you can wrap up and hand over.

Two decades on, it's still a family business. We're still based in Yorkshire. And we still make everything ourselves, right here, using laser-cutting equipment we know inside out. We cut, we score, we engrave — working with wood, acrylic, and card to produce pieces that have a satisfying physical quality to them.

What makes us different from the thousands of other personalised gift sellers out there? Honestly, it comes down to three things.

First, the design. Every product starts as an original illustration or layout — we don't use stock clip art or generic templates. If it has a quirky phrase on it, we wrote that phrase. That means our catalogue has a consistent visual identity that you won't find replicated on another seller's page.

Second, the obsession with fit. We think hard about whether a gift works for the recipient — not just whether it looks pretty in a product photo. Our listings tell you clearly who a piece is right for, what occasions it suits, and what information you'll need to have ready when you order. No nasty surprises at checkout.

Third, the care in production. Every order is checked before it goes into a box. When something leaves us, a person — usually me or someone in my family — has looked at it and decided it's good enough to represent us.

We've been on Not On The High Street since 2006, which means we've been trusted by this platform and its customers for a long time. We've made gifts for newborns and for 100th birthdays. For weddings with 200 guests and for anniversaries where the couple wanted something just for themselves. For people who knew exactly what they wanted and for people who just typed "I have no idea what to get my dad" into a search bar and found us.
