Hey, we're two young guys with completely contrasting language learning experiences. Alex (left) grew up bilingual in Paraguay, speaking English and Spanish, whereas Jonny (right) grew up in the UK hating French at school and dropping it as soon as possible, something he now regrets.
Our vision is to make learning a language as simple as reading a story, through children's books that start in English and end in a different language. We developed the Clockwork Methodology™ alongside the Spanish Embassy, the Goethe-Institut and Nottingham University to make this happen, and count thousands of happy children, parents and teachers as supporters.
The ideal age range is children of 4-11, but these stories are perfect for anyone at a beginner level looking to learn French, Spanish, Italian or German. There will be an audiobook narrated by a native speaker and a glossary to make sure all bases are covered. The story itself tells of a little girl who loses all of her words in a storm and has to go on an adventure to get them all back. Along the way she meets snotty dinosaurs, surfer mermaids and has a spot of verbal tea.
