onegreenbottle is committed to helping to create a clean environment and the minimisation of our global reliance on single use plastics. For every single bottle we sell we recover 25 single use plastic bottles from the ocean. We are proud to be an Impact Partner of Plastic Bank – helping to fund the infrastructure to manage plastic waste properly around the globe.

We have pioneered the manufacture of ocean harvested discarded fishing nets for use making our sports caps and continue to investigate the most planet-efficient processes for our products. We use BPA/BPS free polypropylene for our sports caps. Our caps pass FDA and EN14350 safety tests

Although we are manufacturing a product, this product will go on to have a net positive planet impact.

I started my career in industrial chemistry and I am very aware of the migration of compounds from plastic into beverages. When my son was starting nursery school in 2006 there were very few alternatives to plastic water bottles and there was a massive growth in the number of single use plastic products in circulation. I identified stainless steel as the safest product for drinks and started to buy bottles for friends and family whilst i was working in Asia. We have stuck to our fundamental principles of responsible and ethical manufacturing and supply and we a constantly reviewing our processes for improvement. Our products are beautifully made and we have a wide range of designs to suit all requirements
