Not only will our guests leave having had an amazing three days making their own sword, they will also have experienced life as a real blacksmith with history, science, maths and metalwork design all thrown in. For the young, aspiring ‘Forged in Fire’ fans this is a great way try your hand at traditional blacksmithing!
All of our packages are tailored to each individual guest, from beginners to those who already have previous blacksmithing experience. Children from the age of 7 years old are welcome to the forge.
Our ‘Three Day Sword Making For One’ is a three day experience for one person to make one sword. This is a fantastic couple of days, guaranteed to bring lots of fun and excitement! All vouchers are valid for a 18 months from the date of purchase, available 7 days a week thus giving you plenty of time to get in touch and book a convenient date.

Our chef creates hearty, wholesome lunches using ingredients from local suppliers, proudly supporting the businesses in our community.
Savour your meal in the lively atmosphere of the café, retreat to the cosy Forge Den, or soak up the countryside views from our Woodlands Huts. Alongside your lunch, enjoy hot or cold drinks, indulgent cakes, and tempting snacks. all crafted or sourced from producers we are proud to support.

VOUCHER: All voucher purchases come complete with a digital e-voucher, which is sent to you via the NOTHS platform and can be printed at home or forwarded on. However, for £5 extra, you can choose a premium postal voucher– perfect to put inside a card. If you’d like the premium printed option, simply select that as an add-on when buying your voucher.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Participants we recommend to be over 7 years old. Suitable for beginers through to advanced knowledge, we tailor the day to all of our guest. The package run Monday - Sunday all year around.

Weekends do have to be booked well in advanced, please book as soon as possible to secure a your booking.
VALIDITY PERIOD : Voucher holders must book and redeem their place on the experience within 18 months of the order date.
