A three hour session at the Forge is a perfect gift for children who have seen 'Forged in Fire' and would love to experience life as a blacksmith. Our team of experts will guide them through the history of blacksmithing in a fun and enjoyable way.
The day is both fun and exciting, with the added bonus of taking away your very own piece of metalwork to complete the experience! It doesn't matter if the child/ren have never attempted blacksmithing before or shown an interest, we tailor the day to the individual.

Your experience does not end when you hang up the hammer, step into our café and showroom, where the glow of the forge gives way to the scent of fresh, locally sourced cooking. Our chef creates hearty, wholesome lunches using ingredients from local suppliers, proudly supporting the businesses in our community.
Savour your meal in the lively atmosphere of the café, retreat to the cosy Forge Den, or soak up the countryside views from our Woodlands Huts. Alongside your lunch, enjoy hot or cold drinks, indulgent cakes, and tempting snacks. all crafted or sourced from producers we are proud to support.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: This package covers children from the age of 7-16 years old, all of whom must be accompanied by an adult. Parking is available at our premises. We welcome groups of all sizes and abilities.
For those who are not quite sure blacksmithing is for them, but would like to share the experience as much as possible, we do have our woodlands area and showroom with a viewing area.
During your time with us, you can enjoy lunch either in the country air in our picnic area or, if you prefer, take advantage of our Forge Den or Woodlands Huts. We do welcome family and friends to join you for lunch and to share in your experience as a blacksmith. There is choice of hot drink or cold drinks on site, as well as a choice of a cake or a snack from the tuck shop.We are very lucky to have a partnered up with our local farm shop who supplies us with delicious home cooked Pies, Pastries, and so much more.Our fridge is stocked well with a hearty selection and ready for you to warm up and enjoy. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to bring your own picnic lunch from home.
