Who are we?
Steph created the company in 2016 whilst working around her small baby after struggling with mental health difficulties. Embroidery had always helped alleviate some of her symptoms and she wanted to be able to pass this on to others who may feel the same. This is where the Oh Sew Bootiful embroidery kits came in.
After Steph’s husband, Gray, lost his business to the Covid Pandemic in 2020 he joined forced with Steph, bringing his amazing graphic design skills and level head to the business.
2021 has been an exciting year here at Oh Sew Bootiful; we’ve taken on a small business unit, totally re-branded and have a brand new member of the team, Gem who is also totally crafty and loves a spreadsheet!
Needlecraft kits are our speciality!
We want every Oh Sew Bootiful kit to be special for you to enjoy which is why we do everything here in-house in the UK; from designing to writing instructions, packing and posting your kits, and everything in-between.
Each of our embroidery kits contains the best quality needlework supplies (including DMC stranded cotton, Elbesee embroidery hoops and John James embroidery needles) as well as fully illustrated and easy to read instructions. We've taken all the faff out of starting a project so you can focus on the fun parts!
August 2021 saw the launch of our very first Bargello Tapestry Kit which is a bold and colourful type of needlecraft. We have applied the same ethos to making our Bargello kits. Again using the very best quality needlecraft supplies; including DMC tapestry wool, John James needles and beautifully illustrated instructions taking you step by step through your project taking the headache out of learning something new.
