David and I are the passionate individuals behind the independent retailer, Oba Home.

We have always been hyper-visual. Having both studied graphic design we have immersed ourselves in a world of photography, colour, print, textiles, and typography. Over the past 8 years, we have worked in the industry both in marketing and advertising building on our creative knowledge.

Our passion for design naturally found its way into our home. We love to explore and spend our weekends visiting quaint villages and towns across the south of England. We always find ourselves in local homeware or antique shops looking for something special to bring home with us. That elated feeling of finding something wonderfully unique is what inspired us to start Oba.
