Personalised Etched Aluminium Monogram Keepsake Box

Hand-built in our Buckinghamshire workshop from solid birch ply, each box is finished with a rich whiskey-coloured hard wax oil. This hand-applied stain feeds the timber, enhancing the natural warmth, knots, and distinctive grain patterns of the wood.

Inlaid into the center of the lid is a brushed aluminium plaque, deep-etched with your chosen initials. Unlike hand-stamping, mechanical etching carves sharp, crisp lettering into the metal surface, creating a striking architectural contrast between the sleek aluminium and the rustic, hand-finished wood.

• 10th Wedding Anniversaries: Tin and aluminium represent the traditional 10th anniversary milestone, making this a fitting way to mark ten years together.

We will mechanically etch up to 3 initials onto the central brushed aluminium plaque (e.g. LDS, MJP, or A).
