My Stylish Friend produces made-to-order, personalised silk-lined face masks from your own fabric or upcycled from our vintage and preloved collection
I am Sophie, a personal stylist, and before starting my styling business My Stylish Friend, I was Fashion Editor for HELLO! magazine in Dubai and a personal shopper for royalty. Whilst shielding from Covid-19 and helping women virtually with their wardrobes, I saw so many clients with unwanted clothes which I didn't want to end up in landfill, and realised the importance of comfortable, protective, stylish and reusable face masks.
I teamed up with expert dressmakers My Eden, and together we came up with our unique 4-layer sustainable face mask design using fabric already in existence. Their team of seamstresses hand craft each mask using tailoring techniques for our unparalleled fit and comfort.
I am so passionate about sustainable style, extending the life of our clothes and helping people feel fabulous in what they wear (including our masks!), and proud to be doing what I can to save our planet from disposable plastic masks. I hope my MASKS bring a little happiness to your wardrobe.

My MASKS are hand crafted and made-to-order by our team of extremely talented seamstresses in the Cotswolds, UK.
You can send us your own fabric, perhaps an unwanted shirt or a pillowcase for example, or choose from our curated collection of vintage and pre loved fabrics. Our seamstresses redesign this fabric into the front layer of your face masks and there is no centre seam, to minimise airflow of particles. Both this front layer (of cotton, linen or silk) and the inner silk layer, is heat fused with non-woven interlining, which gives a super sculpted and snug fit and added layer of protection.
In addition to our cotton, linen, silk and personalised fabric face masks, we also offer an exclusive slogan face mask, which is hand printed by Mama Life London in Broadway, the Cotswolds and features her slogan, 'Be Kind. Always!'.
