Every item is lovingly handmade by myself, Annelle, in the Kent countryside.

I have always been crafty, I would much rather prefer to paint, knit or sew than have my nose stuck in a school book. I guess my love for all things crafty came from my mother, who like myself also made lovely items for my sister and I. This expanded into making items for family & friends.

My Little Shop UK also started out this way. I first started making cushions using Marimekko fabric. My friends saw these and soon I was getting requests to make them. I dabbled in the corporate world for a few years where the sewing machine was packed away.

After falling pregnant I started looking for nursery décor. I couldn’t find anything I liked at that stage so out came the sewing making and I started rustling up a few pieces. The sewing bug was well and truly caught as I made myself a few maternity items and also started making things for my soon to be little girl.

Just like that My Little Shop UK was born.
