Equivalent value of twelve pence this coin was minted right up until decimalisation in 1970. However before 1920 all Shilling coins were sterling silver and as such make beautiful wearable jewellery. This is a solid piece and lends itself well as an unusual gift for the man or woman who has everything or somebody who enjoys unusual jewellery.
