Janet Carlisle, founder of Mimi & Thomas, was born in Hong Kong and earned her degree in Accounting and Marketing from De Montfort University in Leicester. With a career spanning roles as an assistant buyer, Asian purchasing manager, and inventory manager for various corporations, Janet's professional journey eventually led her back to her true passion: fashion. She deepened her understanding of the industry with fashion training both locally in Leicester and at Central St. Martins in London.
