Hi, I'm Clare! I am a wife, a mummy of two amazing little girls and the creator of Milk and Moon.
From a very young age I used to sit and watch my grandmother sewing at the kitchen table, I was truly fascinated and inspired. She taught me how to sew and my dream as a little girl was to become a wedding dress designer!! I studied fashion design at university and I have spent most of my working life managing luxury fashion boutiques.
I began sewing again after my first daughter was born as I couldn't find dribble bibs on the high street that looked good but were also absorbent too. After my maternity leave ended I returned to work part time and continued to make dribble bibs and nappy bags for friends and family. It was after my youngest daughter was born that I decided to follow my dream and turn the hobby that I loved into a business...and so our Milk and Moon journey began.
Milk and Moon is a luxury baby brand, that is stylish, modern and fun. We create practical yet stylish and utterly gorgeous gifts and accessories for babies and modern parents.
All of our products are beautifully handmade, high quality every day essential items that help to make life as a new parent as easy as possible without compromising on style. They are handcrafted from start to finish, each being designed, cut and sewn in house here in the UK. Most of our fabrics aren't readily available to buy off the shelf, we carefully select our prints from some very talented designers then they are printed here in the UK using eco friendly pigment inks on 100% cotton fabric.
