Mere Glass Jewellery is all about colour... vibrant mesmerising jewellery colours that shift as the wearer moves and intensify in the low evening light. Every unique piece is handcrafted by Glass Jewellery Designer Hannah at her studio on the outskirts of the Lake District. These stunning glass pendants and earrings are paired with high-quality sterling silver and a beautiful linen effect gift box to create a lovely, original and unique gift for her.
In 2020 Hannah was joined by husband Aidie who manages the business so that Hannah can keep creative. Most days you can find us working quietly in our Garden Studio and if the weather's nice... downing tools for a few hours to enjoy a quick walk in the mountains. Each piece is made, packaged and dispatched with love and attention. We hope you love your first piece!
Artisan Glass Jewellery Made with Love for People you Love
Hannah was introduced to Glass Art through her apprenticeship working for renowned Glass Artist Åshild Karevoll. She was entranced by the intensity and changeability of the colours and it's a love affair that is still going strong. She established Mere Glass in 2015 by visiting a local Lake District gallery and asking them to take her first collection. It sold out quickly and over the last 7 years, Mere Glass Jewellery has emerged as a Lake District Jewellery Brand with stockists throughout the Lake District.
Each piece is created by fusing layers of art glass together and giving each piece its beautiful individuality using glass paints, shards and powders. Our values are taking time to make high quality, vibrant and eye-catching necklaces and earrings and sharing our love of colour with our customers.
