A set of vintage cinema seats on their original wrought iron frame with bespoke felted knit upholstery
We have sourced a limited number of 1930′s cinema seats from a theatre in Cambridge. Fully restored and on their original wrought iron frames they make idea seating for a narrow area such as a hallway, with an industrial style feel.
We have developed a unique technique for upcycled furniture using knitted panels to create one off pieces.
Each panel of knit is individually knitted and felted to create a perfect 'sweater' cover for each piece. The result is highly textured yet hard-wearing and turns an old chair into an inventive and modern piece of furniture that would make a great statement in any room.
Whilst we can 'recreate' from our archive the handmade nature results in each piece turning out completly unique.
It can take up to 5 weeks to knit our covers, resulting in a beautifully crafted and individual piece of furniture to treasure

The base is free standing so does not need securing to the floor, and can be easily moved. This trio can be made to order in any range of coloured stripes on request.
