Meanwhile Drinks was born in London in 2016.

Although in truth its roots reach back to the summer of 2002, Meanwhile Skatepark, when two childhood friends shared their first can of Red Stripe. Instantly united by a deep love of booze and a willingness to disappoint parents, it was only a matter of time before Will and Ben entered the drinks industry.

Their idea is simple: explore the world, find exceptional craft spirits, and deliver the results directly to your glass. At times unorthodox, but always passionate, they will do whatever it takes to find something hidden and special.

No need to play by the rules when you have heart.

Artisanal Mezcal from Miahuatlán, Oaxaca

In 2016 Ben met Atenogenes Garcia in a field of agave in Miahuatlan, Southern Oaxaca. Atenogenes is a skilled and dedicated farmer and distiller, but he was struggling to market and export his products. They decided to work together on a new mezcal - Pensador.

Mezcal is the product of terroir – the earth, climate, biology and inherited techniques of a region. In the mountains and valleys of Oaxaca each region is distinct, giving mezcals unique local identities. El Camino Del Pensador is the flavour of Miahuatlán: defined by the place, process and people of the communities which branch from the Calle Pensamientos - Thoughts Road. It is earthy, aromatic, and mineral rich. Produced in tiny batches with great care, drinkers are encouraged to put the same time and consideration into each sip.

10% of proceeds from each bottle donated to charity and sustainability in Miahuatlán.
