Marlowe Bear was founded in 2018 by myself, Dionne. The brand began whilst I was on maternity leave from my job as a fashion designer. I was inspired by my daughter Marlowe, which of course is where the name came from. I wanted to create clothes for her that were made with love, care and attention to detail. I also wanted them to feel timeless and could be passed down through generations; but also had personality!
This is when I fell in love with Liberty fabrics and their vast range of prints from classic and pretty, to conversational and colourful. They had a print for every mood and occasion.
From the first pair of bloomers sold the brand has quickly grown into a place where you can find children dresses, reusable nappies, grown up accessories and treasures for the home.
