Make + Wonder create tools to spark your child’s creativity while teaching them to be empowered and confident like their favourite role model!

Hi, I'm Nicola and I started Make and Wonder in 2018 to spark children's creativity. I'm a primary school teacher and a mum of two, based in Manchester.

I am passionate about the importance of creativity and children being given time to explore and create freely. I began my obsession with supporting children's creativity during a visit to Reggio Emilia in 2002, where I was inspired by the children's creativity and imagination. Since then i have led numerous creative projects for children in schools and art galleries.

I began making creative kits for children when I noticed that my daughter’s creative confidence really changed when she started school. Around the same time, I noticed how inspired my daughter was by stories of female role models. This sparked the idea to design a creative kit that combined process art projects with the stories of creative role models to empower and inspire children to create, design, imagine, invent and explore.
