A decadent twist on a classic flavour – free from dairy and gluten, not indulgence.
I am Katie, the founder of Mum's Macarons. I have always loved the look and taste of French macarons, so I thought it was time to bake them myself. When I was on maternity leave back in 2022, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to try, and that I did.
It got to the point where the my kitchen was full of my Macarons, too many for my husband to eat and so I decided to sell my delicious bakes at artisan markets in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire from there I created my Instagram for people to place orders outside of the markets.
My Macarons are all dairy and gluten free, so suitable for vegetarians.
As well as baking the original Macarons, I make some specialities that have a twist such as Biscoff Macarons. I can also personalise for birthdays, baby showers, Christmas, and many more seasonal events. Many different flavours and colours are available to choose from. I am always being creative with different flavour combos to keep up with the latest trends.
