Hand-stitched contemporary artwork made to order

I studied Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins where I explored materials and craftsmanship. I focused on stitching and developed a technique I could apply to paper and card. For me it was about taking a traditional craft and making it contemporary through the application of colour, eco-materials and word play.

My aim in creating the LG Studio is to make pieces that are affordable but also don't overlook the smaller details. I work with both card and metal- two completely different materials - one is fragile and the other tough. As a maker I enjoy adapting and experimenting with each material.

I chose to work in small batches, it gives me the most control creatively and allows me to constantly improve the items I produce.
