I’m Lucy Engels, a visual artist and modern quilter, with a love of creating bold, colourful quilt patterns as well as designing and screen printing limited edition fabric collections.
I launched my business in 2015 after an opportunity arose to move away from my career in social work. I create from my studio in Edinburgh. And there is nothing better than spending the afternoon with a big cup of tea, a good film and hand sewing.
The DIY quilting kits I create are put together with you in mind. I use only the best materials and they’re designed to inspire, motivate and guide you to connect with your creative side. Perhaps you’re pretty new to quilting, or you don’t quite have the confidence yet to put your own unique spin on pattern designs. Well, that’s what I’m here to help you with.
