Elegant handcrafted jewellery with a conscience.
I have been making jewellery since my teens but became classically trained in silversmithing 15 years ago. I have a longstanding love of surface pattern and texture that stems from a background in textiles and is solidified in the jewellery I create.
I design my jewellery to be tactile, to evoke a desire to touch and be held. Each piece is handcrafted by me and is inspired by the patterns I see in the landscapes that surround me. I collect these patterns like a magpie. Storing them in a visual library to be reimagined in my jewellery.
Therefore, the jewellery I create is imbued with personal memories: rock pooling with my son, long walks in the dappled light of a forest or a simple meander around my home town. As my experiences and memories go into the creation of my work, it gives me great satisfaction to think that in time each piece will also hold fond memories for its wearer.
The jewellery I create is made in small batches in my workshop in Brighton. The silver and gold I use is recycled and sourced from accredited and trusted suppliers. I strive to create elegant and timeless pieces that can be worn again and again and that are made to last. I am passionate about producing jewellery that is ethically considered and available at a price that is fair.
All of my packaging is made using recycled materials and is fully recyclable.
