Hey, I'm Cathy - creator of Little Box of Love.

In 2020, I decided I wanted to implement skills learnt in various jobs throughout my life and start a business. I wanted it to incorporate my passion for the environment and my love of my home county, Cornwall. During the ideas process I noticed there were plenty of pamper hampers on the market, but the products inside were low quality and thoughtless items easily sourced from famously wasteful high street stores. Little Box of Love was born from the need for more thoughtful and less wasteful gifts, sourced from more local businesses.

I started with a few Cornish and South West based businesses, all with a commitment to eco friendly products and packaging. My mum (having recently taken up crochet) was making handmade face cloths. Along with my own handmade soaps, salts and balms, I started selling to family and friends. Thankfully, we hit the market at exactly the right time, and in the next few years we sent thousands of gift boxes across the UK for birthdays, bereavements, new parents, homeowners, weddings, Eid, Valentines, congratulations, good lucks, and so much more.

In the last 6 years, Little Box has moulded to and adapted with me and my ever changing life and career. But one thing has remained the same, and that it's a joy for me to support a range of environmentally conscious businesses whilst managing something that I have created through my own passions and hard work.
