Never buy a Christmas cracker again! Go reusable and still get the joy of pulling apart the cracker.
Having left the Merchant Navy as Navigational Officer early 2019 and subsequently getting our beautiful Labrador I needed a job with flexibility and something to keep me occupied while I found my feet again.
Attending the local sewing bee gave me the inspiration to design my own Christmas crackers. That year we made beautiful place mats that rolled into crackers.
For me I missed the competition and fun of pulling apart the cracker and seeing who get the gift inside, I missed the competitive element! Thus was born Knots and Needles and my reusable pullable Christmas crackers.
Making Christmas gifts indulges my love of festive fabrics and i get such a joy at sharing such a beautiful simple idea with so many people.
Not having to buy Christmas crackers every year is such a simple way to cut down on waste.
