Contemporary, elegant and stylish
Kirsty Adams Ceramics is an award winning ceramicist. She has created a unique collection of hand-thrown porcelain tableware and studio ceramic pieces with a Japanese aesthetic. Kirsty trained on the potter's wheel in Japan and then established her business in London, before moving to set up her studio in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Kirsty is a selected member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and Design Nation. Her work has been featured on the BBC programme 'The Great British Bake Off ' and Channel 4's 'Inside Outside Homes' and featured in 'World of Interiors' and 'Country Living' magazines.
Kirsty's tableware includes yunomi cups, bowls, salt bowls and spoons and pourers. She also makes a distinctive studio collection of vases and bowls, textured gloss white with a bronze lustre or copper green rim. Each piece is individual with its own unique feel, whilst also being part of a collection. There is now the opportunity to purchase from her Icelandic collection, inspired by a research trip to Iceland.
Kirsty sells her work through retailers and galleries. She has exported her products to Japan, Scandinavia and Paris. She is the winner of the Crafts Council/National Trust Open Call 2017 and is looking forward to bringing her distinctive ceramic pieces to your home.
As they are all handmade, items may vary from those shown. Kirsty Adams Ceramics is included in the collectors handbook of British Studio Potters’ Marks and each ceramic piece bares a small, individual, embosssed stamp mark to show it is made by Kirsty Adams Ceramics and a collectable piece.
