Contemporary, elegant and stylish
Kirsty Adams Ceramics is a unique collection of hand-thrown porcelain tableware and studio ceramic pieces with a Japanese aesthetic. Kirsty trained on the potter's wheel in Japan and then established her business in London, before moving recently to set up her studio in the Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Kirsty is a full member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen. Her work has been featured on the BBC programme 'The Great British Bake Off ' and Channel 4's 'Inside Outside Homes with Architect Zac Monro'.
Kirsty's tableware includes yunomi cups, bowls, salt bowls and spoons and pourers, matt creamy white with distinctive blue rim. Kirsty also makes a distinctive studio collection of vases and bowls, textured gloss white with a bronze lustre or copper green rim. Each piece is individual with its own unique feel, whilst also being part of a collection.
Kirsty sells her work through retailers and galleries. She has also exported her products to Japan, Scandinavia and recently to Paris. She is also the winner of the Crafts Council/National Trust Open Call 2017. She is looking forward to bringing her distinctive ceramic pieces to your home.
As they are all handmade, items may vary from those shown. Kirsty Adams Ceramics is included in the collectors handbook of British Studio Potters’ Marks and each ceramic piece bares a small, individual, embosssed stamp mark to show it is made by Kirsty Adams Ceramics and a collectable piece.
