About Us
Taste & Explore the best of British small batch distillers with Kindred Spirits
We (Ollie & Tasha) opened our first Kindred Spirits store in Ambleside, not far from our Lake District home, in 2018. We had a passion for craft spirits, supporting British businesses and a desire to do things differently. In 2019 we expanded to a second store in Beverley, East Yorkshire and in 2021 our flagship store in Keswick. We have enjoyed building a team of likeminded individuals as well as converting more customers into craft spirit enthusiasts!
We work directly with a selection of truly authentic, British distillers to help customers confidently explore the world of small-batch craft spirits which aren't readily available elsewhere. In our stores we offer tasters as well as guidance from our knowledgeable team to help customers find their perfect match.
In order to offer a similar to a bigger audience online we've developed a range of tasting packs and beautiful gift sets. Whether you're looking to expand your own horizons, or give a gift to kickstart a loved ones venture into the world of craft spirits you'll find everything you need here.
To remain in keeping with the spirit of handcrafted produce we bottle everything on the shop floor once a customer has chosen a product. We add a further personal element, offering a handwritten message to be included directly onto the bottles. Any products not included in a giftbox are wrapped in our beautifully designed botanical tissue paper as standard taking the hassle out of wrapping odd shaped bottles for you!
