Katie Cardew is a small independent business, specialising in illustrated fine art prints, homewares and personalised gifts, all designed by Katie!
The brand started off on the kitchen table back in 2013 when Katie decided (at the age of 22) to pack in her London office job and move back to the countryside to pursue her love of drawing, launching her first range of prints and cards.
Katie Cardew is now a thriving business with 5 staff, all working Mums, with a studio and small warehouse in Rutland. The brand’s ethos is bright, bold and beautiful illustrated products, all manufactured in Great Britain and all featuring Katie’s colourful designs.
What makes us special
Katie designs each and every product – from an idea in her head, she then draws out the designs, scans them onto her iMac and finally uses them to design the products, from small greeting cards right up to epic picnic blankets!
Every product is trialled and tested to make sure that not only the illustrations look amazing, but also they stand up to use in a busy household.
We use UK manufactures for all our products, many of which are local to us (we often pop in for a cuppa and a nosy to see how our order is coming along!) We thoroughly believe in supporting UK manufacturing and the beautiful quality speaks for itself.
We truly care about our incredible customers and love the support and generosity we feel from you. We are a small business but a mighty one – there are real people behind every process – from making our products to packaging them up to ship to you.
