FINE JEWELLERY SUSTAINABLY HANDCRAFTED FROM RECYCLED SILVER & GOLD IN THE HEART OF SUSSEX
Kate Wainwright is an eco-aware British jewellery designer and maker who believes that beautiful jewellery doesn't have to cost the earth. In line with this belief, all of Kate's jewellery is made using recycled silver, gold and ethically sourced gemstones. Kate handcrafts all of her designs at her Grandfather's old workbench in her home workshop in Sussex.
The packaging Kate uses to gift-wrap and send out orders is minimal, purposeful and sustainably sourced. Kate respectfully asks that anyone receiving orders reuses and recycles any packaging responsibly. Kate's jewellery is also vegan friendly with the compounds used in the polishing process being free from animal derivatives.
JEWELLERY THAT WILL LAST GENERATIONS, NOT JUST SEASONS
Kate first started making jewellery in 2008 as a creative outlet and soon fell in love with metalsmithing. Over the years this hobby grew into a business and Kate Wainwright Jewellery officially launched in the summer of 2017 from Kate's home workshop in the heart of Sussex. This is where Kate spends much of her time hand-piercing, forging and soldering recycled silver and gold at her Grandfathers old workbench to create beautiful pieces of jewellery that will last a lifetime. The La Lune collection is especially close to our hearts with a portion of each sale being donated to Tommy's The Baby Charity.
