Contemporary Illustrated prints, stationery and giftware. Designed and made in Yorkshire.
Kate Broughton makes a range of products including prints, stationery and accessories from her original illustrations.. Inspired by nature, the outdoors, and cooking she produces extraordinary giftware items including temporary tattoos and nail art transfers.
Kate set up her business in Nottingham after graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Textile Design, and moved back home to Yorkshire in 2014. She now works full time from her home studio in Otley, West Yorkshire. All items are either made at her home studio or by a local company not far away in Leeds and then carefully packaged back in the studio.
Growing up next to a river and spending a childhood walking in woods, paddling in rivers, and birdwatching has meant that making as little impact on the environment as possible is an important part of the brand. Where possible paper and card used is 100% recycled, and all offcuts are recycled too, and the packets for cards are made from fully biodegradable and compostable corn starch.
Your order will be carefully packaged to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Temporary tattoos and nail stickers:
My temporary tattoos are not intended for children under 5 years and the nail stickers are designed for adult sized nails so not recommended for young children. There are full instructions for application on the back of the labels, the results will depend upon how carefully they are applied. The nail stickers need to be coated in a good quality topcoat of clear varnish and left to dry adequately so that they will last. Results may vary with the temporary tattoos depending on the skin they are applied to (avoid areas where the skin stretches a lot to make them last as long as possible). If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Temporary tattoos can be removed from the skin using soap and water, wet wipes or baby oil, and nail transfers can be removed with nail polish remover. Customers assume full responsibility when using these products.
