This fabulous coronation souvenir in classic wool felt is destined to become an Heirloom of the future.
A truly regal and iconic design, this Crown Cushion is hand-embroidered with intricate detail onto luxury pure wool. It is inspired by St Edward’s Crown which was created for the coronation of King Charles II in 1661 and it is the centrepiece of the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom. This is the crown that will be used to crown King Charles III during his Coronation Ceremony of on 6th May 2023.
The detail on the crown is quite exquisite from the base right up to the cross at the top and the jewels are all depicted by appliqué and tiny cream French knots, satin stitch and chain stitch. This high quality crown cushion is finished with red blanket stitch around the edges and it fastens on the back with two mother of pearl buttons. Each iconic piece in the Coronation Collection is a collector's item and truly epitomises Jan Constantine’s ethos of not only loving her country but also being proud to be British!
