Hand Embroidered Rectangular Union Jack Cushion

Jan's Union Jack Cushion became a bestseller in the collection for many years, combining a patriotic British theme with a cool appreciation of 1960s Pop Art style. The cushion is hand made using traditional embroidery skills upon a vintage shade of grey or classic navy wool. It is layered with cream and red wool felt strips, worked with red cross stitch to form the Union Jack flag design, adorned with the red heart in the centre, to add the ‘Love’, using full artistic licence. The Union Jack cushion is edged with cream blanket stitch, and fastened on the back with two mother of pearl buttons.
