4 Home Decor Trends for 2026

Fancy a bit of a home refresh? Read our 2026 homeware forecast and discover the hottest trends, from natural materials to personalised touches to make your space totally your own.

For 2026, we’re predicting a shift away from cold, polished interiors and the minimalist aesthetic. Instead, we think this year will be all about embracing a more imperfect, unique and cosy style. Basically the aim is to make your home feel like you’re living in a Nora Ephron rom-com. Chunky knit optional.

And, thanks to the creativity of our small brands, we’ve got lots of unique homeware finds to help you express yourself. Let’s dig into our top four trends for 2026…

Warm, Bold Colours for 2026

Whether it’s switching up your wall colours or adding a new print or piece of furniture, we’re seeing a real shift to warmer and bolder colours for 2026. Here are some shades you might want to add to your colour scheme.

Warm neutrals

Forget stark ‘Landlord white’, this year it’s going to be all about embracing the warmer shades of neutrals that make a space feel truly cosy, whether it’s adding it to your walls or bringing it in with accessories or furniture. Think beige, taupe, greige (that’s a mix of grey and beige btw) and creamy off-whites.

Deep Green

Green is a lovely choice if you want to bring more of the outside in. As a colour it really helps to balance out a space and make it feel calming. That’s why it makes a great option for spaces where you want to fully relax like bedrooms or living rooms. Add it in with larger pieces of furniture like this gorgeous console from small brand, Rose & Grey. Or go for smaller statement pieces like this large decorative bowl. Dreamy.

Bronze and Browns

Rich shades of brown and bronze help to make a space feel grounded. Play around with different shades to add warmth. If you’re not feeling brave, a cushion is a great way to start adding in pattern and interest. Or for a kitchen or your wardrobe, you could even upgrade your hardware. Hello, bow door handles.

Mustard Yellow

If you want to add a joyful colour into your home but don’t want something too overbearing, mustard yellow can be the perfect choice as it adds a real touch of luxury and sophistication. It also works really well as a contrast to darker blues if you’ve already got them in your home. Our top pick for this trend? These gorgeous pleated napkins

Natural Material Furniture

With more of a focus on using sustainable materials, natural furniture and accessories are having a real moment. Think reclaimed wood, woven rattan pieces and statement pottery.

Rattan & Jute

When you think of materials like rattan and jute, beige or brown probably comes to mind. But you can also get plenty of colourful accessories too, from beautiful, handmade storage baskets to a statement rug. If you prefer the natural look though, we think you’ll absolutely love this seagrass lamp. She’s a stunner.

Wooden

There is, of course, nothing particularly groundbreaking about wood furniture or accessories in the home. But for this trend it’s all about embracing its natural texture and grain rather than going for a painted finish. Think a showstopping chandelier hung from wood and a one-of-a-kind fruit bowl with a truly organic shape.

Clay & Terracotta

Looking for an excuse to buy another mug? Here it is. Whether it’s a gorgeous splatter jug or a plant pot made from terracotta, this trend is so easy to bring into your home. You could even have a go at making your own vase with this air-dry clay kit

Personalised Touches in the Home

A real trend in interiors these days is making your home more unique to you and embracing the imperfections. Your messy laundry? Actually quite chic. A great way to put your own spin on things is by adding some lovely personalised touches. And, luckily for you, it’s something our small brands do best. If we do say so ourselves.

Personalised art works

From personalising artwork with your fave memory to creating your own property board game card print, we’ve got so many ways to create a custom piece of artwork for your home. How about a couple print with both your zodiacs? Or a bouquet print with everyone’s birthflowers? Lovely!

Personalised candle holders

Candles are a really lovely way to add a personal touch. Whether it’s spelling out a word or name with candles, personalising them with one of your fave photos or adding your home’s co-ordinates to a tealight holder, our small brands have lots of creative ways to make candles your own.

Statement Mirrors

You can’t underestimate the power of adding a mirror to a room. Not only can it help really elevate a space and make a statement, it can also make a room feel *so* much bigger. There are two routes you can go down to make the mirror impactful. More on that below...

Ornate mirrors

If you’re dealing with a smaller space or even a smaller budget, an ornate mirror could be a great choice. Whether it’s intricate details, bobbin trims, painted borders or even vinyl decals, there are so many fun and creative types of mirrors to choose from. You could even have a go at making your own with this polymer clay mirror kit from small brand, Craftiosity

Large mirrors

If you’ve got a big space to fill, a large statement mirror could just be the thing to tie everything together. And, if you place it opposite a window it will even help to bounce light around the room which is great for spaces that don’t have as much natural light. Happy days.
