Each candle is hand painted with non-toxic paint that burns along with the wax.
Burning time
Burning time is approx. 7 hours.
Safety
While we recommend using our candles as ornamental pieces, our candles are safe to burn as the non toxic paint burns along with the candle. When burning, please follow the following safety measures and make sure you have working smoke alarms in your home:
1. Make sure that candles are placed in a fire-resistant candle holder
2. Keep candles away from furniture and curtains
3. Leave at least 10cm between burning candles and tea lights
4. Put out candles before leaving the room and before you go to bed
5. Use a snuffer or spoon to put out candles
6. Keep candles, matches and lighters away from children and pets.
Storage
Store your candles in a cool, dark, and dry place.
To protect the paint, keep them wrapped in tissue paper so that the paint does not peel off.
