About

Colourful handmade ceramics which are fun and functional!

Hannah Inskip creates colourful, chubby ceramics designed to bring a bit of joy to everyday life. Each piece is handmade in small batches using white stoneware clay. Some are thrown on the wheel into wavy-shaped tableware, whilst others use layered coloured slips with wax-resist patterns to create texture through glaze. Hannah’s work blends functionality and ergonomic design with bold colours, textures and fun prints.

Hannah began working with clay in 2019 after a decade in the fashion industry, where she developed a strong eye for colour, form and design. Now based between Brighton and North London, Hannah works as a studio manager, technician and teacher in two pottery studios alongside her own ceramic practice.

Nominated for NOTHS Artisan of the Year Award

Shortlisted for the Not On The High Street Awards in the Artisan of the Year category, which celebrates the very best in hand-crafted products across the platform. Being recognised in this way highlighted the creativity, care, and craftsmanship that goes into each of my pieces, and it was an honour to be featured alongside so many talented makers.
