A beautiful art print, celebrating one of cycling's most revered one day classic races, Milan-San Remo and marks the start of cycling's Monuments season.
This race is also referred to as "La Primavera" (Spring) and "La Classicissima" (The Super Classic) is the first race in cycling's five major one-day classics, or 'Monuments'. The event has seen many illustrious winners over the years, including legends such as Fausto Coppi, Eddy Merckx and our own Tommy Simpson.
This event is largely favoured by sprinters due to its relatively benign gradients but, at 298km, the race also requires high levels of endurance and composure; as riders patiently sit in the bunch, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Will there be fireworks on the Cipressa, or perhaps on the Poggio this year...
Our design features the ediface of Milan cathedral, which reflects not only the starting point of the race and the imposing nature of the Ligurian coastline on route to the finish.
Your print will be hand-finished, carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and packed in a sturdy cardboard tube to ensure that it reaches you in tip-top condition.
