Share a creative experience together with this private pottery wheel throwing workshop for two at The Scarborough Pottery studio. Whether it is for a birthday, anniversary, date idea or simply time well spent together, this two hour session offers the chance to slow down, make something by hand and enjoy trying something new.
Hosted by Taylor Shaw Ceramics in a peaceful studio setting near the coast, the experience suits complete beginners as well as those with some pottery experience. As it is a private session, the tuition can be tailored to you. With friendly, expert guidance throughout, you will both learn the basics of wheel throwing, shaping and creating your own ceramic pieces.
There is plenty of individual support and a relaxed atmosphere, making it easy to enjoy the process and get creative. After the session, you can each choose your preferred glaze and leave your work to be professionally glazed and fired, ready to collect around three weeks later, or arrange postage for an additional charge.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Adult-only experience, although keen teenagers may be considered.
Finished pieces are usually ready to collect approximately three weeks after the session.
Postage of finished pottery can be arranged for an additional fee.
