All of our products are designed and made by hand in our Devon workshop, located just outside of Salcombe. We look to embed sustainability in everything that we do, with products made and sourced locally, and wood cut at a local sawmill on Dartmoor from sustainable trees on National Trust estates. The products are packaged in recycled cardboard and sent straight from our workshop.
Installation
Designed for straightforward wall mounting. Each sign arrives with recessed screw holes and matching oak dowels to conceal fixings after installation, creating a clean, handcrafted finish that blends beautifully with any setting.

Delivery
Once you’ve approved your design, your custom wooden sign will be carefully handcrafted within 12–18 working days, depending on your chosen options, and sent with tracked UK delivery via Parcelforce.
Branding
Each sign includes a discreet Grain Designs branding plate or stamp. If you’d prefer yours without this, please let us know in the personalisation box (see last photo for reference).

Ground Spikes (Optional for Easy Installation)
Our 55 cm ground spikes make installation easy by reducing how much of the post needs to be buried (typically 20–30 cm), keeping the sign secure while maintaining its full height. They also protect the oak by preventing direct contact with wet ground, improving stability and longevity.
