About this product

Description

Christening spoon with oak leaf shaped handle, on reverse the inscription 'Great Oak From little acorns Grow' with a plaque for personalisation, complete with presentation certificate and presentation box.

The proverb ‘Great Oaks From Little Acorns Grow’ highlights the concept that with time, nurture and love, a small child can develop into somebody powerful and strong.

On our personalised Christening spoon we can fit up to 18 characters or spaces onto the back of the spoon and It’s up to you what you want to say!

Also suitable as a gift for a Naming Ceremony or Baptism.

Made from

All Glover and Smith designs are made from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead content in old pewter). Our 95% tin Pewter is the fourth most expensive metal in common use after platinum, gold and silver. Because we use solid metal the surface of your personalised little acorns spoon will never flake like a silver plated Christening spoon. To clean just wash with warm soapy water. All our designs are completely nickel-free and made exclusively by us in Wiltshire, England.

Dimensions

Spoon Length 117 mm (4 1/2") .Comes in a black presentation box, with care instructions and gift Certificate to fill in.
