Our leaf jewellery gifts are created by hand from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter). Our 95% tin Pewter is the fourth most expensive metal in common use after platinum, gold and silver. Using solid metal means the surface of your hawthorn leaf brooch will never flake like a silver plated brooch. To clean, simply wash with soapy water. All our designs are completely nickel-free and made exclusively by us in Wiltshire, England.
