Each Birdwatchers bookmark is hand cast from polished, solid lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead content in old pewter) and completely nickel-free. Our 95% tin Pewter is the fourth most expensive metal in common use after platinum, gold and silver. Because our designs are all created in solid metal, the surface of your birdwatchers bookmark will never flake like a silver plated bookmark. To clean if needed, simply wash with warm soapy water.All our designs are made exclusively by us in our own workshops Salisbury UK.
