An artisan bakery in Cumbria focused on quality & flavour using the freshest, high quality ingredients.
Ginger Bakers first began in 2006 when Lisa started baking cakes from her home kitchen and selling them locally. She decided to take a leap from her career as an art therapist into cake making following a move to the Lake District, and found that Cumbria was able to offer a wealth of fabulous ingredients - which are still an integral part of their recipes today.
Their range of delicious cakes and bakes are made with the freshest ingredients, locally sourced where possible, and includes their Westmorland Pepper Cake - a distinctive spiced fruitcake hailing from Westmorland in Cumbria. Ginger Bakers are committed to reducing their environmental impact, and recently achieved green certification.
Ginger Bakers have won numerous Great Taste Awards from the Guild of Fine Food for their bakes, and were awarded Best Food Producer by Cumbria Life Food & Drink Awards.
