My name is Gillian; I am the founder and artist behind the design brand Gillian Arnold. My work is a celebration of botanical design and British craft.

I am an experienced surface pattern designer with over 20 years experience ranging from leading workshops in inner city schools and working as a resident artist to owning and running my own design business. My artistry and designs are derived from a deep-rooted passion to share my love for wild flowers and unique floral specimens with the world and my passion for traditional artisan craft skills.

My product range is varied and always changing as I am always finding new ways to stay on trend and put my own unique botanical twist on what’s current and new. Come back to my page in a few months and you’ll certainly find many new products, there is always something new and a reason to comeback.

I am always trying to help further develop art and culture in Bishop Auckland in the North East of England where my studio and workshop is located. Not only do we hand make all of our products from this one location, but I am able to offer training, work experience, internships and employment to this area in a creative industry.
