Sparkly Unicorn Cuddly Toy Knitting Pattern

This unicorn is the newest pattern from award-winning designer Addy Whitfield. A fun project for knitters who have mastered the basics (knit, purl, increasing and decreasing) and a great gift to knit for unicorn-mad boys or girls, he's just the right size for cuddling.

The 12 page illustrated downloadable pattern takes you step-by-step through knitting and making up this toy. Worked flat on 3mm straight knitting needles, there is no knitting in the round needed.

You can knit him from any double knitting yarn you have in your stash- we used half a ball of King Cole Glitz Dk in Diamond White (483) and just under half a ball of Wendy Peter Pan Dk in Blossom (PD05) (so you should be able to make two unicorns if you have a ball of each yarn) You'll also need very small amounts of blue, yellow and grey double knitting yarn for knitting the horn, bow tie and flowers, plus a darning needle, toy stuffing, a bit of black dk yarn for the nostrils and a pair of 6mm black safety eyes with click-on backs (or you can embroider the eyes instead)
