Plump Flump Beginner Knitting Pattern

Easier and quicker to knit than a scarf- and much, much cuter- this is a very simple pattern to get learners knitting. Including illustrated 'how to' instructions, the design introduces the basics of knitting: casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and casting off- with no fiddly changing colours as the self-striping FairIsle wool does all the hard work for you.

To make your Flump you will need:

A ball of self-striping yarn (several options are given in the pattern), straight 3mm or 4mm knitting needles, toy stuffing, felt, cotton, sewing needles, thread and beads (optional) for decoration. You can also personalise your finished Flump with an initial- a full alphabet template is also included.
