This knitting pattern is worked flat on 4mm straight needles, with simple increases and decreases to shape. You can use any chunky-weight yarn, making it a flexible project to suit your stash. Pattern is 9 pages long, with step-by-step instructions and illustrations.

Skills needed: Cast on and cast off, knit and purl, increasing and decreasing.

You will need (to make two elves): Chunky yarn in Tan, Red, White, and Turquoise (we suggest Hayfield Bonus Chunky or Paintbox Chunky), A pair of 4mm straight knitting needles, a little black DK yarn (for smiles), pink felt (for noses), thread and toy stuffing, sewing needles, two pairs of 6mm safety eyes (or embroider the eyes- recommended if the dolls are for small children)

Bring a touch of handmade magic to your holidays- these little elves are sure to spread joy year after year.
