This Tyrannosaurus Rex baby dinosaur is a fun project for knitters who have mastered the basics (knit, purl, increasing and decreasing) and a lovely gift to knit for dinosaur-mad boys or girls.
The pattern takes you step-by-step through knitting and making up this dinosaur. Worked flat on 4.5mm straight knitting needles, there is no knitting in the round needed to make this toy. You can use any chunky weight yarn in the two colours/makes of your choice, we used just over half a ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky For Babies in Baby Blue (colour 1232) and just over half a ball of Stylecraft Special Chunky in Aspen (colour 1422). You’ll also need a length of black Dk yarn for sewing the eyes, 4.5mm straight knitting needles, darning needle and toy stuffing.
