About
Artwork inspired by the natural world and the romantic, flowing designs of decorative arts
I’m an illustrator and modern calligrapher creating ranges of greeting cards, stationery, art and commissioned pieces. I produce all my work by hand using traditional methods; dip pens, inks, watercolour paints and crayons. I use gold and silver metallic paints and pure gold leaf in some of the art pieces. I was taught by Quentin Blake who encouraged my loose, flowing style. My work is about communicating messages of love, hope, joy, special thoughts at times of happiness or difficulty. My work is proudly made in Kent.
Environmental
The packaging is recyclable including biodegradable bubble wrap and cellophane bags. The print presses are carbon neutral in a solar-powered warehouse and the card stock comes from an FSC-certified supplier. Studio waste is recycled, composted or incinerated at a nearby steam power station which generates electricity for the local area.
