Dear Grandad Guided Memory Gift Journal

Prompted by thoughtful, guided questions on each page, this journal is designed to inspire your grandfather to capture some of his life's key memories and experiences, and share his wonderful memories and aspirations with you. It’s a priceless gift that’s returned to you once completed!

All in his precious handwriting, your grandfather can recall moments, funny stories and memories that make up his life. The thoughtful questions are designed to help him enjoy telling her story, describing the past and the present, as well as thinking about the future. Alongside his handwritten memories, there’s also space for him to add photos and memorabilia.

Once filled in, this journal will be a wonderful record of your grandfather’s story, one that can be treasured forever. Grandfathers will enjoy taking the time to fill in this journal to create a lasting record of their life, and grandchildren will enjoy finding out more about his life and getting to know him better. It’s a great way to add life to any family tree, by asking those questions that you may never think or get the chance to ask in everyday life, but the answers to which are invaluable.

Find out how things have changed throughout his life, what he did as a child that is different from today, what his parents were like and what adventures he has had in his life. Discover what your own mother or father was like when they were young! What about your own relationship with your grandfather, what are his favourite memories of the times you have spent together and is there any advice he would like to give you? Everyone has stories to share about their amazing life and it’s so important to find ways to capture and treasure them.

When you get his completed journal returned to you, it’ll be one of the most emotive gifts you’ll ever receive, and therefore this is quite possibly one of the most valuable gifts you’ll ever buy.
