Making original gifting more personal
Hi I am Erika the founder and designer maker at Frames By Erika. I am a lawyer by trade but I love creating custom paper artwork for my customers . My Swedish heritage influences my artwork enormously and I love unfussy contemporary minimalist design.
'Frames by Erika' was born in June 2013. I couldn't find a contemporary paper inspired gift for my husband for our first wedding anniversary so designed and made my own. I cut hearts out of our Order of Service preserving the significant words and phrases and we now have our magical day preserved in artwork forever.
I was inspired to start making artwork for other in 2015 when my girls were 12 weeks old. I created a few basic designs and as they say... the rest is history.
We are focussed on making gifting original
Every piece of artwork is handmade and as such unique. We hand fold all of our designs and painstakingly glue our designs into patterns to form original one-of-a-kind artwork. All of our designs have a 3D element to them be that raised away from the background or glues and folded. Every design is hand drawn by us and then cut and fixed to the background paper.
